I have built a rectangular cabinet mounted on a wall, with intended doors that are completely flush on top, sides and bottom. When I mounted the first door on internal hinges, there is now a gap by the hinge when the door closes. I must be using the wrong hinges?

Some cabinet hinges are adjustable. If yours are not, you may need to buy some that are, or mortice the hinges into the door edge to divide the side spacing evenly. Good luck.

Its tough to get your head around a hinge and how it fits on a door. Check woodworkershardware.com to see the proper hinge for your cabinet. They have pictures of how the doors mount. You can still buy locally once you find the right hinge.
