I have a lot of chemicals and paints that I use throughout the year. With winter coming on I don't want them to freeze and I have no safe place to store them inside the house.

What is the best way to keep them warm. I thought about building a cabinet and putting some sort of heating source in there, but that can be dangerous too.

I know what you are referring to. I keep paints and chemicals in my laundry room during the winter.

It is pretty comfortable in there. I use my dryer practically every day and monitor the situation.

I don't suggest you build a cabinet and add heating. I would be afraid of a fire as well.

Perhaps you have a basement where you could store the paint, etc.

How about a cabinet on a outside wall of the house. The house will keep it from freezing. You might even insulate the outside walls of the cabinet.
