I live 10 min. away fom DC, but what comes to mind when you hear the state "Virginia?"

NO, everyone does not think Virginia is a hicktown. Some of us are intelligent enough to know Virginia is a STATE not at TOWN.

Now, if the question was do most people think Virginia is a backwater, redneck, countrified state the reply might be different.

Also, it is almost guaranteed that everyone is not going to have the same opinion about anything. Therefore i fyou choose to ask another personal opinion question consider asking do the majority of people or do most people think such and such.

P.S. Your Virginia background is showing in your grammar.

Washington D.C. comes to mind for me. When I hear West Virginia though...that is different...lol...

I live in Hampton Roads, which is metropolitan, but my friends elsewhere think I live in a trailer in the sticks.

where you live cant be near as bad as where i live just about 30 miles from north carolina this place is hillbilly heaven, if thats what you picture heaven to be ,it is pritty here but the cost of living is high as opposed to wages,how do you like where you live?
