I am pretty sure there is absolutely no paper caught in there but it will not print. What can I do to fix it?

I'm not 100% sure of the specifics of your problem, but I've seen a similar problem with a different make of printer. The problem turned out to be an optical paper sensor that had become obscured by a drop of ink. The printer wasn't "seeing" the paper.

Perhaps your problem is similar. Check you entire paper path and look for the sensors that detect the location of the paper. Perhaps, one is stuck or there could be a tiny scrap of paper in there.

Was there a paper jam at one time? I can't say for sure, but I'll bet there is a sensor that is bent or otherwise out of place.

I suggest you closely examine the paper path for small wire-like "feelers". Where you see one, exercise it carefully to try to reset the switch. You might see some paper in there while you do that, too. Carefully clear any you see.
