Please give me some good reasons for cleaning my room. Why should I keep my room clean?

1) You don't want to be viewed as being nasty.
2) You don't want other living or dead things in your room because it might start to rot or smell.
3) Cleaning your room will make you appear as you care about good hygiene, about your body and your personal things.
4) It will add positive things to your personality.
5) It will show that you care and you have good responsibilities skills.
6) You'll feel a whole lot better about yourself.
7) Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

1) When things are kept clean you may find that you are doing better at school or work, because your organized and know where everything is.
2) Clutter is known to cause stress and when you have a clean room its easier to fall asleep.
3) You'll have more time to enjoy yourself instead of trying to find things and if you still live with your parents you won't have to worry about them telling you to clean your room right before your about to leave to go somewhere.

Number 1 answer; keeps Mom from screaming at you to clean your room.

Keeps the clean/dirty laundry off the floor.

Keeps the smell down.

Keeps the rodent population manageable.

Absence of rats, roaches and other live pests always does it for me. That and the health department. Lastly, did your parents who pay the rent or mortgage ask you to do it. That should be enough. Unless you are independent and on your own, then refer back to the absence of furry creatures above.

2) You aviod pests such as ants, roaches, mice, even rats, invading.
3) It is good self-discipline, which serves you well in all aspects of your life.
