I got my nick name when I was 3. My hair is naturally curly. Moma dried my hair under a salon hair drier needless to say I had a Afro when she checked on me.

My nickname is Jo Jo, given to me by my father from the time I was really tiny. He still calls me Jo Jo and no one ever calls me by my given name. I think it's too formal and very Italian.
