I do. Pad, tampons and clean knickers in a plastic bag - two of them actually, one in my day bag and one in my nightshift bag. One of my gentlemen once went in my bag and got hold of it refusing to give it back claiming it was his. He had dementia ..... the senior and I were in hysterics .... shame on us.

Yes, same as you. I always have some tampons, a pad and a spare pair of undies in my bag. I have done for years. I wouldn't feel safe if I went somewhere without them. I love the story about the old gentleman with dementia, poor old guy. Years ago in Woolworths of all places (the shame!) my nephew, who was a toddler at the time, fished a tampax out of my bag and put it in his mouth as if he were smoking a cigarette, I was mortified at the time but I laugh about it now.

I had no choice but to do so as I never had any warning signs and was irregular.
Thankfully those days are behind me!
Don't ever take a packet of those small tampons in to work, I once did and one of the dear old ladies (also with dementia and poor eyesight) started handing them out as sweets!!!! Very amusing but boy was my face red!

I always carry around a few pads with me in my bag, even when my period is not even due. But I've never thought of carrying extra panties - hmmm, that's an idea.

I carry tampons in my bag all the time but I don't take it out all the time so, no I don't always carry one. Unless I'm already on that is.

Tampax have said they are replacing the string at the end of their tampons with a piece of tinsel. This is for the Christmas period only.

No, I think that's overboard. Depends on if you get sudden, heavy periods though I guess. I don't. Mine come on light after a bunch of cramping, so I have lots of warning. I carry a tampon in my purse, that's all.
