Humans originated in central Africa so they probably are designed 'for heat'. But different races have different tolerances to cold. A naked Australian aborigine isn't bothered by temperatures down to about 40F, and only mildly uncomfortable in still air with the temperature below freezing. So they don't need clothing in the places where aboriginals used to live before we white folk messed up their comfortable lifestyle.
And it likely we evolved to have less hair because we wore clothes. Evolution favours discarding useless bodily attributes and evidence is that mankind has used animal skins for clothing for up to 100,000 years. So hair is fairly useless except on the top of the head (the place with the biggest blood supply) and in crevices (where we sweat and the hair helps evapourate the sweat to cool us).

No - we're warm blooded creatures. We keep our body temperature constant using food as a fuel. Therefore we were designed to tolerate different climates. However, the extreme climates are very challenging - the Poles, desert, etc. - and it's difficult to sustain much life there. However, through our ingenuity and intelligence, we can tolerate those climates albeit with a lot of risk involved.

Our ancestors are supposed to be the monkeys and they are still having lot of hair.Millions of years back ,they must be having more hair.Slowly we started protecting our body with some cover probably made of dry leaves in the beginning. In course of time we might have lost those hair and attained the present type of body. So, what you say may not be correct.

That is kind of smart. But if humans weren't made for the cold then they would not have ever made coats. We weren't born with shorts and a tank top either.

Poor theory. We lost all our fur because we learned how to control our environment. These are things like clothes and buildings and heaters.
