ive alway's wanted to own one so I don't have to mow. But i'm talking about one that set's a pattern automaticly and stops when it hits solid or no grass

I saw one on TV the other day at the National Hardware Show. It was $3000. They work with a buried wire that keeps them in the area you want mowed. Automatically return to the charging station when the power is low. They also have a code that needs to be entered to avoid it being stolen and used elsewhere.
