You can't MASH an eyeball very fine Wally...it is a viscous liquid contained in a thicker skin...think of a wine grape.
And what happens to grapes when they are boiled would be about the same as what happens to an eyeball.

Ew-Gross I know some cultures eat boiled eyeballs (sheeps are especially popular) but I don't believe they are mashed first. I think I'll pass.
