I could care less about the passengers, I am FURIOUS about the damage and ruination to the seas down there.
I spent 6 months in Antarctica in 1979 and 80 and it was beautiful and serene and stupid tourism is just ruining everyplace on the planet!!!!
I hope the tour company that owns the ship that sank is fined heavily and made to retroactively clean up that mess!!!!!

Normally in the case of a cruise that is cut short for mechanical etc reasons, the passengers get a pass for a future cruise, usually an upgrade from what they lost out on.
