around here in central FL, the Santas have to say "Ha, Ha, Ha" because the women are getting offended. i mean come on, it's not spelt "hoe". jeez, lighten up. this is almost as bad as "holiday trees" instead of Chistmas trees because the stupid people don't want to offend anyone by saying "Christ". thoughts?

No, No, Hell No!
Anyone who would say that they are offended by Santa saying "Ho, Ho, Ho" has more problems than the rest of us need to even try to address, and are just looking for something to complain about.
It's high time WE stop this nonsense and REBEL against just ignorance. The time the politicians took to decide to officially make Santa change his "by-line" could have and should have been spent in a manner that could benefit ALL taxpayers in some significant manner.
It is RIDICULOUS.

I heard this started in Australia by some crazy group. I'm Jewish, but still think this is ridiculous. The "word" HO, is slang for whore and isn't even a real word, so why would anyone be offended? And by the way, it IS a Christmas tree- no other religion uses them as a sign of the season, so there is no reason to try to be "politically correct" on this one.

Yes, I've read the news about it, and I'm a girl but I never get offended... In fact I never even thought of the word 'hoe'...
It's not the Santa's problem but the women's problem... Overly sensitive... And I will really miss Santa's ho Ho's...

I'm guessing you saw the headlines for this in the news but didn't read the actual article. This is just happening in Australia and since news broke of this the agency requesting it came back and said that the Santa's have the choice whether to say Ho...Ho...Ho, or Ha...Ha...Ha.

IT sounds CRAZY,,,,IF all the "ho,,ho,,hos" would stay out of the malls during the holiday season, they wouldn't be offended!!! I know what you mean about all the crap,,, I've gotten where I say Happy Holidays,,, JUST so I don't offend anyone!!!
