When are they formed? How are they related to ones well being? Can this be proven scientifically?

There is no scientific proof to tell that the lines are someting to do with the fortunes of a man.They are merely the folding marks of the hand.There are many bone-joints in our hand with which you can fold your hand.Depending upon the amount of flesh on your hand, these foldings create different type of lines.That is all;there is no other significance for the lines.

Nothing more than just fold marks caused by opening and closing your hand so many times in your life.
Nothing at all to do with one's well being I'm afraid.
