Could this happen if:

1) Missouri wins out - including the Big 12 Championship

2) West Virgina loses to U Conn

I know it's a stretch. The biggest wrench in the equation is Ohio State at #4 with only 1 loss. Do you think a loss to Missouri would hurt the Jayhawks enough to fall below Ohio State or could they meet again for the BCS Championship in January?

Two teams from the same conference "can" meet in the championship game. The NCAA rules state only that the top two ranked teams in the BCS standings will meet for the championship. Unlikely, yes, impossible due to rules, no.

1. west virginia loses
2. the winner of kansas Missouri loose to Oklahoma
3. usc beats ucla
4. Orgeon looses to ucla or Orgeon state

if none of them happen west virginia will play the winner of Missouri v. kansas

if 1 and 2 happen but 3 and 4 dont then ohio state will play Orgeon

if 1 happens but not 2 then winner of missouri v. kansas plays osu

if 2 happens but not 1 then west virginia plays osu

if 1,2,3&4 happen then usc will play osu

Yes, if Mizzou or Kansas lose they will get bumped back behind Ohio State which leaves Ohio State to play in the top two bowl games. Yes, it is also possible for two conference teams to meet at the BCS championship game but that will be most unlikely because if Kansas loses they will probably be playing in the Rose Bowl or Orange Bowl and the same with Mizzou. So lets just see how the games are played out. Let their playing do the talking.

2 teams from the same conference cant play each other for the national championship. it wont happen. because Kansas strength of schedule is way too weak. The only thing that helps them is that they play in a BCS conference and so if they pretty much go undefeated in one of those conferences they are in. Yeah I know people can argue that OSU lost to an unranked team and Kansas should they lose to Missouri would argue we lost to top 5 ranked team. But the knock on OSU and Kansas has been they havent played any tough teams all season. Well OSU beat Michigan their biggest rival and Kansas did beat K-state. But their biggest rival now is Missouri.

If Mizzou loses to ok [conceivable] & W.Virginia loses to Pitt [unclear], Ohio State advantages the main out of all of the communities that don't play video games for convention championships. Ohio State then jumps to type a million, yet then you definately've LSU in all probability beating Tennessee for the SEC Championship, and particular Georgia is ranked 4, yet you won't be ready to deny that LSU is the greater desirable of all the two loss communities. yet an incredible case ought to be made for USC besides. so that's a hard call if Mizzou and W.Virginia lose. enable's wish they the two win, and go away us with some sanity... besides the actuality that this season has shown to be a sturdy reason to have playoffs.

Yes, just like Michigan didn't get in the national championship last year. They had their chance let someone else have one. But, I will say this: This year is a strange year and it could happen.

that would make me throw up. it's not going to happen. if Kansas ever loses they will drop like a brick because of their painfully weak schedule. the loser of that game is all but guaranteed to drop below Ohio State.

No. Sorry, but no. Two teams from the same conference playing for the title should only happen in a playoff system, where both teams have had to earn their way there.

Yeah, that could happen. But I doubt WVU loses to Uconn now with BCS implacations
