...bought AAA and AA and C and D batteries at 50 % off...I stocked up...also bought a new computer mouse...the kind that type for you (jk) and color ink jet cartridge for my printer...all at Radio Shack

I avoided the onset of the 4 and 5am shoppers this year. I did that whole scene last yr.
I ended up leaving home about 8am and was done by 10:30am.
Bought some CDs, books, clothes, video games, DVDs from Walmart.
Went to Fashion Bug for gift cards, Wear to Work for gift card, Awake by the Lake (cute little coffee shop nearby my home) for some fresh coffee beans and some items to make up a gift basket for my mom.
I have actually gotten over half of my shopping done now.

Wow, E really did load up on batteries, huh? Draw your own conclusion ;)
Anyways, my niece, her boyfriend and my cousin went with me to Best Buy, Circuit City and Target. Among the things I bought were a DVD recorder, couple of cheap movies, couple of South Park season DVDs, Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders for Rhiannon, couple of 2 GB flash drives, a Family Guy season 5 DVD set, and that's about it!
It was a pittance this year, because the funds just weren't there this year. Keep in mind the deals were due to hitting the stores at 5 a.m.

I went to Target and Walmart, but didn't go til about 8am- there was actually nothing I HAD to get at 5am this year, although that's always been a tradition for me to get out early. I got a Dora tent and a Sit and Spin, some cheap CDs and DVDs- and a gallon of milk! Hope your leg feels better- and "happy shopping" today!
