When a person's argument is sound and based on facts, opponents generally attack the messenger or use other linguistic devices.

Exxon publicly accepts the fact that human activities are impacting global climate change, however, they continue to work behind the scenes to undercut the efforts of honest people. Governments are realizing the importance of the warming of arctic regions (for resources) and the opening of the Northwest passage.

yeah and he leaves out that the scientist in the late 1950's projected that the soviets dropping the largest nuclear bomb ever made ' the super czar bomb' that rattled the globe three times around the world would some day cause global warming on the north pole and siberia, as president john kennedy ordered a test ban treaty with russia in 1961

So you think the "theory" of human-caused climate change is about as crazy as the theory of evolution, eh? Me too. Both are accepted by virtually ALL of the scientific community. Both make conservatives feel/sound like chimpanzees.

It's predictable that critics would try to use the idiotic behaviors of a chief proponent of climate-change theory against the theory itself. But I'm not sure the vast majority of us who accept that humans are destroying the earth are necessarily fans of Al Gore's at all. He happens to be right about what's wrong, and we happen to be sick of God-fearing conservatives treating Al Gore like he is god of the rest of us. Give it up and get on with the solution.

That guy's a complete fraud. How he sucked everybody into believing he was some kind of environmentalist is beyond me! He personally uses more energy than most of the rest of the world. He uses enough electricity heating his pool to power 13 average size homes every month. His carbon 'footprint' is gigantic, but he buys carbon credits to avoid having to change his life style ... something he wants everyone else to do to 'save the planet'. I'll change when he does!

I listened to Laura Ingram the other day...she spent the entire show making fun of NBC and their efforts to have a "Green-week" showing ways of saving energy. How stupid are you Limbaugh lovers?
