okay, i have blonde hair and really long eyelashes
i swear almost 1 1/2 inches
they're SO DANG LONG
but they're like blonde because i have blonde hair
and when i put mascara on they look like spiders.. its hard to explain
they go up to my eyebrows
and it looks like im wearing fake lashes
and everyone says i wear fake ones
which i DONT
what should i do?
besides DONT WEAR MASCARA?

First, DON'T trim them. That will look 10 times more fake.
Second, go for a mascara that adds color without a lot of length. I use Clinique Naturally Glossy on my upper lashes only, but enough transfers right after application to color my lower lashes without really lengthening them. I gain a little length on top, but not much.
I think it's sad that people would think your lashes are fake while most women really do fake theirs and get a total pass. You probably are harder on yourself than others are on you, but that's natural. Your lashes will thin and shorten in time, and you'll get used to your body and its qualities.
Be who you are.

Do you know how many women would kill for those lashes?? Some people just don't appreciate what God gave them. I would love your eyelashes and I would always put tons of mascara on them and make everyone jealous!! But, back to your question....you can trim them a little at a time, or even try lighter colors of mascara like brown or grey and see what that will do. I still think you should flaunt it if you got it!!!

I love the look of long lashes and I'm sure plenty of guys do. I don't think you should stop wearing mascara, I just think you need to make sure that the mascara you wear specifies that it does not clump. Also, you might want to get an eyelash comb and comp through the lashes a little after the mascara dries. Combing them makes them look softer.

OMG!!!You're a lucky girl....nevermind those ppl telling u ur wearing fake lashes.....many people are dying to have that lashes..a lot of people are going to the salons/clinics right now to have an eyelash extension or eyelash perming ....they're willing to spend for that and u my dear doesnt have to pay a single cent!so be proud girl! :)
hhhmmmm i suggest u wear a clear mascara.....the black ones further adds volume to your lashes which u say is not comfortable...

I knew someone with the same problem she went to a hair salon and asked the woman that does the waxes if she could just trim her eyelashes a bit, the woman did it, so now she goes there to get them trimmed, kinda like getting your eyebrows trimmed.

I think the people who say they are fake are just jealous of your lovely long lashes.
Why not use clear mascara? Maybe that is the solution.
My husband has long eyelashes and I think he is adorable!

My daughter has REALLY long eye lashes too. Evreybody says that she wears fakes, but she doesnt.you should wash your face and when you do, wash your eyelashes withOUT soap. then, before you dry your face, put on your mascara and do NOT dry your eyes. That is what my daughter says. And She is eighteen.

I think they have trimmers made for trimming eyelashes, you can buy them at almost any store including walmart and drugstores.
Be careful when using them. I don't have that problem, but wearing glasses they would get caught in my glasses.
Ask the pharmacist what he/she recommends.

if the problem is keeping them out of the way so they dont bother you, i would suggest an eye lash curler, that way you can curl them up and theyll also look cute. try a different kind of mascara, one that is from maybelline. sometimes it depends on what kind of makeup you wear.

long lashes are beautiful! mine are long too, just not quite as long as yours, but believe me so many girls would die to have long eyelashes! just don't curl them, but use a mascara that volumizes instead of giving length. then they will look lush and full and definitely play up your eyes, but not rub in your eyebrows. =)
