No. Never have. I drove drunk once in my life, about a 4 hour drive, and couldn't remember how I got from point A to point B. I spent the next week checking the car for damage and looking for hit-and-run reports for where I should have been driving.

It scared me. All I could think of was what if I'd injured some perfectly innocent person? How would I feel if some drunk had killed someone I loved?

I quit drinking entirely for about 2 years. When I did start drinking again, it was more moderate and I never drank if I was going to be driving. (*shrug*) Now, I may have one drink if I'm not heading on the road for a couple of hours, but mostly I skip the alcohol if I'm going to be the driver.

I've had a couple of them. The downright stupidest thing I've ever done. I don't drink at all anymore and will never drink and drive again. I was ejected into the pavement in a horrible wreck when I was a kid and alcohol wasn't involved. I shudder when I think of the lives I could have ruined by doing such a thing and don't think I could live with myself if I hurt someone. Even though I didn't sue, the guy driving the truck I was in hasn't spoken to me in 27 years, hasn't called to see how I'm doing, nothing. You think you could live with yourself?

I got arrested for DWI when I was 7 from drinking too much sour milk. I was really messed up and Officer Goodbody gave me a strip search.

Never and I've been pulled over a few times when I was so drunk I couldn't even walk. They believed I only had a few.

I don't drink and drive anymore.

No, the only thing I've ever driven under the influence of is Pepsi, which makes me really hyper, but I can still function well enough to drive safely.

no. when you drink and drive, you are risking alot more than your car. you are risking your life, other drivers lives, and the people that love them. i have always told myself, i never want to be the one to call someones family, and say, remember your kid? well...remember them that way forever. i never want to be the one in court trying to justify why i did that.

youre not just risking that, youre risking your reputation, something significantly harder to replace. you are also putting property of others up to gamble, should you be in an accident, youre responsible for that property. and personally? i would much rather spend that money on myself. a nice dinner will do better for me than someones landscaping. :-D
