a patients drip bag is held over a stand… liquid flows from the bag to blood… giving them either food or drugs.. can someone Please please explain why bag is held up using water pressure and weight??

im in so much trouble with physics!! im a chemistry, biology nutter and dont understand physics! please please help!

The bag is attached to the stand, which supports its weight. It is not held up by its weight and water pressure.
