Bex, DAVE would be an excellent England manager. Dave sits in the West Stand, seat J241 at the JJB Stadium, shouting advice to the bench.

Dave knows absolutely everything about football tactics and team selection and England could do a lot worse than choose him.

No, he couldn't. I really don't know which Englishman could take the job on apart from Steve Coppell, and why not take a gamble on Teddy Sheringham. In my opinion the candidate has to have both experience at top level football in this country, be respected by the Club Managers and the fans, and most importantly be allowed to get on with the job without interference from the FA.

It's a tragedy that ex players such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Gary Lineker, Peter Shilton, and all the other players who have won 80+ caps for England can't have more of a say at FA level, and give the manager more of a hand with the job, leaving him less exposed.

I strongly recommend England get a overseas manager. they truly want a disciplinarian in there because the present England team basically lacks self-discipline. Otto Rehagel comes into concepts yet he continues to be handling Greece for Euro 2008 on condition that they qualified. Jose Mourinho seems solid yet for some reason I doubt he will take the job, i imagine he will opt for club football in Spain. England desires a coach who can self-discipline and organise the team because the skills is all there.

It's not working very well with the older gentlemen so how about giving his son ,Jamie or nephew Frank Lampard a chance - they couldn't do a worse job(or give it jointly to the Bekhams ! lol)
