Sometime the first week or so of December. Depends on having a day off work, and when I make myself go out to the shed and dig it out.
That used to be my husband's job, and he kept his shed neat as a pin and had everything in it's own place. Since he died, and I eventually moved, all my stuff is in chaos and upheaval. I can't find anything! I'll have to go out and hunt for it here before too long, though!
The guy I'm with now doesn't have nearly the ambition or excitement about the holidays that my husband did. He has no interest in putting up outdoor decorations, so I guess we'll do without! I can't do it all myself.
Last year, he went to bed while I stayed up and decorated the tree. He wasn't even going to get a tree until I threw a fit. I told him I wasn't living somewhere where there is no Christmas tree! I don't understand people like that!
Anyway, I'll be dragging it in and putting it up, probably all by myself, in a couple of weeks probably.

I am the "biggest kid" going when it comes to Christmas.
There have been many years when as soon as 12:01/November 1, hits, I start taking down the Hallowe'en decorations and start putting up our Christmas decorations.
This year, due to my failing health (Stage III Renal Failure,) we are running late and hopefully, will have all of our decorations and Christmas Tree up by the end of next week.
As a rule, our Christmas Tree is up and decorated by the third Sunday in November which is the day of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. We have to welcome Santa Claus properly.
Many or should I say most of our Christmas Decorations are either family heirlooms dating back to the 1800's, decorations that all of the children in our family have made or ones that my husband and I have made together. The only store bought things on our tree are the lights and the candy canes and hopefully next year, we will be making our own.
I put our Christmas Tree up so early because I love what it symbolizes and the warmth and glow of it.
Personally, I think that the Holiday Season is just too darn short. Like the song says: "I wish every day could be like Christmas."
Merry Christmas Everyone!

If it wasn't for my husband we would never have a Christmas tree up. He usually puts it up right after Thanksgiving or a week after.

its tradition , 12 days before Christmas and take it down 12 days after , it really annoys me when people put up their trees too early it doesn't feel special if its up for ages !
