No nonsence? I think it will be a crime if those wasters ever get out again...except in a box. Why doesn't life mean life?

If he gave them a long sentence for killing someone and then immediately attacking someone else, then yes, he should get a pat on the back whether he wants it or not. The judges that don't need a pat on the back are the ones that give out light sentences like community service for such heinous crimes. It shows the wrongdoer that he can go out and do it again with impunity.

Wouldn,t it be a stright forward system if when your given a sentence then thats what it is.Ten years equates to ten years.Never mind good behaviour, the reason your in there is for bad behaviour,so would it be better to say if you dont behave in here your sentence goes up,rather than time off for pretending to have turned over a new leaf.Same thing in reverse,no paroles just more time.

Maybe he's in touch with the general public unlike most judges, good for him.

A good judge giving a good sentence, but he should have added "with no parole"..
