Here is the reality of the Armenian genocide...92 years later Armenians are still trying to pursue justice for their ancestors, the forgotten ones.
The Armenians who were murdered between 1894-1917 died by starvation, torture, and any means the Turks could rid their empire of Christians.
Dead Armenians were everywhere, they were thrown in rivers, and burned, some still alive. Nothing left of a entire race but ash and bloody rivers. The few who managed to escape raised their children to be strong and kind and loving not haters of theTurks today.
Armenians are educated and we have learned the Turk's way "violence" is not the answer, but we want justice for ones who have died. They may have been disallowed any dignity when they were killed but today their lives must mean something to the world.
As long as Turkey continues to denies its past crimes against the Armenians, we will have learned nothing from their deaths.
I am Armenian, but I am also a human being. That is reality.

I am Armenian myself and I know about it.
it was an organized and planned genocide against the Armenian people, they destroyed whole Western Armenia in the wildest way. And the whole population in Western Armenia.
And now the Turkish government tries to deny that.
Say, how will Jewish people feel when the Iranian president, Ahmadinejad denies the horrible Holocaust?!
Not condemning cruelties of past gives no credit not to commit it again.
I hope Turkey will face its past one day, and end to this enmity between Turks and Armenians.

Yes of course, the Turks tried to kill off all of the Armenians who lived in Turkish controlled lands. I don't know the exact number of Armenians who were murdered but I believe that it was a few hundred thousand. The Armenians are an ancient people who have their own language and customs. They were Christians living in an Islamic country. They were financially very successful and were an intermediary between the West and Turkey. They were involved with inport and export and were very Western in their style of life.

Yes, in fact they see the question you are asking here on Yahoo! Answers on a fairly regular basis. Those with any interest in History can easily look this up in a search engine like I did and come up with nearly 650,000 hits.
