Tracey,
I understand. I was there,(have been a lot in my life) and no doubt will be again before long.
I found the best thing was to concentrate on nurturing who I am on the inside, and it has helped me to stay grounded many times in the past.
Looks are NOT everything, so Please, don't focus on criticizing your appearance, (even if you are a Super-model Trac!) I'm serious.
Depite being Socially Phobic, I am a petite little blond and model P/T. When people tell me I'm beatiful, not once do I believe them. I don't care any more what I look like. I just want to be Beutiful on the inside. Best lesson I've ever learnt. But, you're so wise Tracey, I know you already know how special you are. Believe it! E-mail me. I'd love you to. Wanted to talk to you for yonks but the shy part of me, didn't want to risk rejection. Just know I genuinely think your a beautiful, wise, understanding, empathetic, intelligent and kind-hearted person. It comes across loud and clear in every one of your answers.

But Suzy,
I don't recall claiming contentment was gained by primarily focusing inward at any given moment in time, all the time. As you can plainly see my comment was addressed to some BODY,Not EVERY body.Certainly not meant to be taken as a generalisation, nor as a summary of MY belief system-not even close!
I EMJOY having conflicting views with people who aren't afraid to deviate from the "pack" I just feel ('I' being the operative word) that your Self-professed "Strong" personality tends to get ahead of you at times. This is based on 8 months of reading your answers I might add (& often biting my lip - too much so it seems!)
I even took what many have called cold hearted vindictive & downright Abusive commentary from YOU! I was appalled but shrugged it off.Your remarks actually made me pity u Suzy, A Few months later u apologized anyway.(:
In this case I was trying to "help" an índividual. A friend actually. We have been through similar circumstances and enjoy exchanging advice.

You accused me of ridiculous things, and all before I'd even written a souple of sentences! I had only just joined Y!/A at the time, so I was under the false assumption was normal conversational conduct. I actually considered leaving the arena, thinking YOU were just an immature Teen letting off steam! I'm glad I wasn't hasty in my decision now...

I guess what I'm trying to say is here's some advice - I owe you a piece or two...LOL.Before you pipe up with your often very good, always fascinating and anything but dull remarks, maybe you should try & think about the recipients feelings, before you open your mouth. You say you do, yet I have seen little 2 no evidence to back this up..reminds me off our 1st encounter! I'm NOT REFERRING TO MYSELF Suzy either so don't get the wrong idea. Now that I KNOW YOU better, and you know ME (& that I'm not anything like those false, initial accusations you threw my way) you can scream it down my throat for all I care!
Why? Because now I know this is just who YOU are,(and although it may not seem it at times) I also know, you always have the BEST intentions, and your Heart is in the right place. I consider you a Friend now. And honestly LUV reading your answers! ( :You are NEVER boring. You stand out from the rest. I Now RESPECT You,more & more...whereas if I didn't know you, I'd REJECT You.

When I'm not on my period I like myself.

I like my sense of humor, my singing voice, the talents God has given me in writing poetry, and photography. I like my boldness and ability to swim against the currents in life. I am a strong conservative christian woman that is proud of my life as a Homemaker and Homeschooling mom.

Unfortunately I am going through a very painful and difficult time in my life and at the moment I hate myself. I can't find anything that I like about me at all. :-(

:-)))

Yeah I do. I get p.o'd and argue with me sometimes...but we work it out. My fish loves me too. You can tell by the way he sends bubbles to the surface when he sees me stroll past his bowl.
