I felt like an outcast at most of the schools I was at as well as the college I used to attend. These people didnt know me heck I didnt even know me back then I used to be a very angry and misunderstood person I dont know what these same kids albeit some twenty years older are doing now but I know one things for sure I doubt they're as happy as I am right now.

We all have a past even those who say they havent and its only a vast element of the human condition that brings with it a level (no matter how big or how small) of insecurity. Its only human nature to feel that you're not leader of the pack at one point or another. And with the advent of media intrusion with such shows like "Cribs" or "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" the viewer is then thrusted into a level of inferiority but are these celebrities truly less of an outcast? Celebrities are just like us - yes they may have more money so as to fix whatever they feel needs to be done so as to better their own perceived insecurities but we are all built the same and its the foibles that make us who we are no matter how much of an outcast we are seen to be to the rest of civilisation.

True! Often!
I was one of five inner-city kids in a private suburban Christian school, and even though I'm white, I wasn't the "Eeew mah gawd" *twirl hair and giggle* type. Plus, I was always the chubby one. I was awkward. Had guy friends but never a boyfriend...until I got to high-school. Then, in a lot of classes, I was the only white girl...but I showed/proved myself friendly, and it didn't take me long to make friends. But, still, I was kind of awkward.

Yes, the moment when I tried to socialize around with this group of friends a few years ago. I feel kind of lost when I'm with them lol. They are all very sociable peoples, they have their partners that the brings along when we hang out, so me being single, feels so strange.

I no longer hang out with them anyway. Social evolution.

True.

I have dyspraxia and tourettes, plus I work hard at school, which makes you a social pariah to alot of teenagers!

Luckily I have lots of friends, but there are plenty of people who think I'm too weird to bother with. My thoughts are: sod them, we'll see who's laughing in 20 years time.

But, of course, it still hurts, every single time.

Hell, I'm the loner of my school. If somebody happened to die in my school I would be blamed for it. I do have a decent amount of friends but I am somewhat antisocial toward the majority of people.

True, all my life. I was always condemned for being myself and for not being what people would call pretty. I look better now but people had always shunned me for not being a follower and my looks.
