What a question! Um... if I was working for WWF, I would've told Bret what Vince was planning. Even though I was risking my job, I would never let a good friend go out like that. If Vince fired me after the PPV, there was always another company to go to

Really, if you're a supporter of Bret Hart, you should because it's the right thing. However....

...Doing so will jeopardize your future in the WWE, whether you were a wrestler or a referee or the ring crew. At times, it is good to comment on a situation regarding a decision by Vince McMahon. Other times, however, it is best to keep your mouth shut about it, as it could get you fired.

it is hard to know how i would have reacted..
I know that many people would have said that "yes,i would have told him" but look at the facts..when you becoming a wrestler..perharps your biggest dream is to work in the WWE and become WWF/E champion.I would have worked hard to be in that roster and i would have never wanted to be released because i did something good..so maybe No..i wouldn't have told Bret the truth only if he was a real life close friend of me...
I am an honest person, but Earl Hebner(the referee of the Screwjob) which was real life good friend of Bret would had told him the truth and not screwing him...

It is an interesting Question..very surprised that noone had answered it...

*starred* to bring you(if i can) more answers...
