What is needed is a much more than just a third political party. What is needed is what it would take to actually have that party recognized and have the votes for them actually COUNT. We would have to revolt against the current system, which we all know is broken. We would all have to accept an equal share of responsibility in the fixing of the severely damaged system. We would all have to ensure that the current level of governmental corruption we see today is never again repeated on American soil.

I think there should be a some one in the labor party running. I am not sure if it would help but, right now the two major parties are to corrupt.
I hear people say that this year might be the year an Independent could actually win. It would be nice if some one was running independent and could get into the debates.
I wish the people would wake up and learn that right now we are on a path to loosing all of our freedom. Much of it has already been compromised.
Any one who would want safety more then freedom don't deserve to be an American.
It makes absolutely no sense for a country that has fought so hard for freedom and independence to just give up without a fight.

Shiji's answer is lovely but Utopian. We "ALL" cannot possibly agree. A democracy is only as good as its participants including the electorate. If the electorate is ignorant it elects people it deserves. Lack of participation, propaganda, lies, manipulation, corruption, misinformation and disinformation is what have reduced democracy in the US to a corporatocracy. A third party would be "nice" but if the electorate does not bother it will mean nothing.
And I do hope that the citizens do become more involved, but it will not happen easily. Once the Mexicanization of the US is complete, then the masses will rise.

Why not , aren't they the one that do all the work, make something , produce, manufacture and get the wheels of the economy going, they also have to carry the dead wight of the supervisor, manager, director, VP, pres, CEO, CFO and VFP
since they are over heads and don't do emm all they, then at the end of the year, Pres, CEO, CFO and VFP get Millions in bonuses and get even more fat while our honest working guy get a ticket for a frozen turkey from local friendly supermarket.
BTW, been there down that, ALL?! But now i want to say hell with that kick the dead wood out and divide their salaries between the good guys for heaven sake.
Oh man i got little loud again sorry.

My Best Regards.

If you mean in the USA, we do have a Labor Party USA.

I remember their slogan was "The Bosses Have Two Parties".

It's never gotten off the ground, but it's still there. I flirted with joining them but as a Mississippi resident, would lose out on mucking up primary races.

I would rather see a "socially liberal" "fiscally conservative " party. Let people do there own thing as long as they pay for it themselves and accept responsibility if they make bad choices.
