Never in a million years, We cannot even win in Iraq.
China has already demonstrated that they have the ability to knock our satellites out of the sky and make us blind and deaf. They have more people more weapons and the same technology is not better.

It depends on what type of warfare you are talking about.
Economic - I think the US will remain the dominant economic force for the next 5-10 years until the full industrialization if China. Unless the US can change its economic / foreign policy I think you will have a struggle on your hands. This is of course until the lifestyle of the average Chinese worker reaches that of the Western world. Then the balance may swing back.
Military - why on earth would you want to start a war with China? I doubt that even the US could win that battle (lets face it they're not very good at winning any battles) with the China being so massive in size.

Just think of China's population. When they are choking on excess in 30 to 40 years. The air in china will be un breathable. That's when Americans will be driving Solar Powered Bicycles around Ironic isn't it. Or some Idiot President will launch a Nuclear attack and finish off human civilization. China is awash in dollars and is in direct competition for Hydrocarbon. I remember Pres. Nixon's trip to China The whole population was on three speed bicycles. Just wait watch coverage of "The Smog Olympics". China's help with global warming probably will kill us all anyway.

All that would happen if , Heaven forbid, there was such a war is that most of the planet would be destroyed for 100's if not 1000's of years
No country is ever going to invade the USA , this is the sort of scare mongering peddled by George Bush and his henchmen . Yes some murdering terrorists penetrated the defences , but many people think that this really could have been prevented if the security people were on their toes , as hopefully they are now !!

I don't think China's likely to try and start a war with us, though they might try to take back Taiwan someday. I doubt they're in any position to invade our country.
It wouldn't be a smooth move for the US at this point to start one either. Consider how dependent our economy has become on them, for one thing.
I wouldn't bet my life the US could defeat them in an Asian land war either.
Even if we won, I'm not sure the American people would feel much like celebrating afterwards.

The wars on and we are already losing. China is on its way to owning America we owe them so much money, they are building their armed forces and spending even more money then we do on their military budget. We depend on them for trade and their goods and they spy on us and our industries every day of every year. Our response, more free trade and less oversight. Our greed by the elite of this country will turn us into a third world country in the next half century if we don't change our course and wise up.

America never single handedly won a war against an equal power.
America would not stand a snowflakes chances in H ell against the Chinese military.
We are a whole lot weaker than most of you think.

USA can not win a war against a few camel farmers in Iraq, a country that even has no army at all. USA has no chance against China.

with all the technology in the world you couldn't even catch a caveman called Osama and u r lost in Iraq. Basicly, if you keep on like this - meaning invading countries u don't like; the world might do what happened to Japan to you. One in a lifetime attack on America and later make it a passive country.
