Historians will give Bush a better rating than we will, because of 911 and the upcoming terrorist activity that will occur when Bush leaves office. A presidents success is measured according to many criteria. Unpopular presidents such as Bush are not considered absolute failures by Historians. John Tyler,Rutherford B. Hayes, Benjamin Harrison, James Buchanan, and Warren G. Harding will be rated lower than Bush in years to come. His rating will improve after he leaves office.

The current one is one of the best. The two worse ones are those who bedded women other than their wives. One got shot and the other was caught out by Hilary

Hmm, maybe Woodrow Wilson for starting what is now neoconservatism and muddling in the affairs of other countries.

Reagan, for his befuddled foreign policies which resulted in 241 Marines being blown up in Beirut, his "borrow and spend" approach, which had an agenda of wiping out all social services, and inviting the religious right to the table puts him a close second to Dim George.

Truman was the first to deploy troops without approval from Congress.

Harding was a fiasco who set up the Great Depression without a doubt, but he didn't start any wars.

Yep, I'll stick with Dubya as the worst ever.

Nixon was a lyer- but he didn't 'start' american democracy.
I just did a half an hour search on american presidents, perhaps trying to find a worse president.
but I did not have any luck.
so George Bush, Jr. aside from Nixon, and his own father; is most definitly the worst American President. What does that say about the American People for electing him -twice.

Carter- who let Iran take US citizens as hostages and did nothing about it.

And Clinton. For all of those who want to cry that Clinton's only scandal was oral sex with an intern, better go back and re-read the records. See how many people died or went to prison from doing business with Slick Willy. White Water ring a bell?

EDIT: I'm getting a lot of thumbs down. The Clinton crowd must be awfully sensitive about sending a woman to jail to protect their own skin.
