HAPA CHIC...Yep, I'm an Aussie & no we don't need any help from the U.S.

Lebanon on the other hand needsALL of the help it can get , particularly after Israel bombed the stuffing out of its' infrastructure just 18mths ago , using U.S. ordinance to do it ! The U.S. is the king maker in the world & Lebanon isn't big enough or powerful enough to fight its' own battles.

If the U.S. wished they could lean heavily enough on all parties to sort this out overnight !

Could it be that they orchestrated the deadlock?

Could it be that they have interest in waiting to see which way next week's peace summit goes before they "propose" a president?

Could it be that they have interest in waiting to see if the Syrians will come to the party and if they will need to compensate them for any favours?

Could it be that they are playing us like pawns? nuuuh...not the U.S........

Edit: I didn't win tonight Jeddo, my people didn't stand a chance but I stick by them.

The U.S will intervene?? do u think it's not yet intervening!! are you serious? this is a game..where USA,Syria,Iran,The Gulf, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries are playing on a land called "Lebanon"..all is a game..including the delay of election and still many scenarios to come!! Lebanese are well aware of that..they know it's not between them..they are only a chess players for all the mentioned above!!

Hi Bro.....
I have understood last night what all the problem is, thanks to a nice person that tried to explain me all the problem since 1991 till now.
Lord lost some time of his sleeping time to try to explain it to me.
So now, I arrived at the conclusion that USA doesnt do anything bcoz is behind everything ....as always.
Syria and Iran have been so much time without USA putting its nose in their affairs. Strange,,,no??
Why is that? Just last times, USA is trying to "punish" Syria in some way, but of course this happens only bcoz USA's interests.
Unfortunatelly, nothing about politics in the world nowadays, happens without the "help" of USA.
If some country has petrol, or an strategic place in the world, be sure that they will be behind the prblems that country has.
If a free Lebanon serves to USA interests, then be sure that Lebanon will be free. If not............then,......... let's pray.

EDIT....
Hi Halawa..
Plz, dont disagree with Lord.....do it with me that was the one that posted the reply...
Who knows? may be i still didnt understand what he tried to explain to me.
salam dear

i hoenstly think its best for the whole world if america does NOT intervene in everything before the hick is out of office and we get a better foreign policy or whatever
because im sorry but america makes things WORSE not better

example:
IRAQ! (enough said)
palestinian elections, they let us have an ellection so the people can choose, we chose Hammas (which was stupid of us lol) and america went back on and decided not to give us aid, people werent getting paid their salaries there and then we had a mini civil war (what was the point of letting us choose our government then??)

so lets hope that they keep out of the elections, i am sorry america isnt on lebanon's side. belive me if lebanon gets corrupted and messed up and weak its better for america cuz then their little friends Israel have nothing to worry about

i dont know.. my husband said that several ppl will be coming to the US to have a meeting about this.. i wish something could be done before another civil war breaks out

edit: I dont think the USA has anything to do with lebanon's problems.. I believe there problems are caused by them and no one else... so I disagree with Lord :) as usual.. its funny how friends can disagree so much yet get along so well lool

i think that the U.S will intervene in this case IFF there was disturbance in lebanon, all sects are (yellow lighted) waiting for a single beep. " am no talking abt cars".
and if shee'a were to do a move for preventing the meeting it will be a HUGE PROBLEM!!!

If I were president, I would end this mess once and for all. Unfortunately, I can't even get people to vote best answer for me. Anyhoo, look, just give us the oil, and we "promise" there won't be any more trouble **wink** **wink**
