The reason Lamar Odom is sucking is cause of fu*cking Kobe Bryant, he is sh!t but he thinks he is good and takes 31 shots per game, and gets like 2 assists? wow, no wonder he never wins, If he were to pass the ball to Odom who isn't 100% then yes, he would be a beast

The Lakers are changing their game plan and asking Odom to play off the ball this year. That's probably why he is struggling to adapt to his new role. Here is a link that talks about it.

"Odom has had a difficult time adjusting to a new role, one that requires him to play without the ball in his hands more often than in the past.

The Lakers are pushing the ball up the court more frequently this season and playing less in their triangle offense.

"He needs to learn his way in this offense," Jackson said of Odom. "We'd like him to solve it immediately. But it was a hard one tonight. He had a number of opportunities. He just didn't go through with it." "

i might would desire to assert that he became into overvalued popping out of the draft using fact he's superb lazy and would not use his skills to the utmost like kobe or lebron does. yet there are different overvalued and worse gamers than Odom which contain VINCE CARTER. That guy is the epitome of ineffective yet gets paid 20 million a three hundred and sixty 5 days.

Overrated is putting it too modest! When the heck is he going to prove how good he is? I'm so sick of waiting for Lamar Odom to find the right system to play in, he's capable of getting a triple double every night in my opinion he definitely has the potential but lacks that killer instinct that Kobe has. The Lakers would be a dominant team if Lamar would show up every night.

I'm a huge lakers fan but lamar odom hasn't proved anything this season. you expect a guy like him to be leading the team in atleast one category but he isn't..he is overrated

I think he is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. For one, he is one of the most mobile power forwards in the league. He is 6'10 and can rebound, block shots, and defend. he is also very versatile; he can handle the ball very well, play almost all positions on the court, defend against the best power forwards ( with his height) and shooting guards (his length and quickness). The only thing that's hurting LO is that he's playing alongside KB24, who as we all know, loves to takes more than 50 shots per game.... Remember, Lamar was a vital cog when he was playing for the Miami Heat and before that the LA Clippers...

Lamar could be a very important player in a team that loves to run like the Phoenix Suns, GS Warriors, or maybe even the Cavs...
