Not reallyits their choice, or they just forget to do it. I always go back and give a best answer, if that person has taken the time to answer your question then they should be given an indvidual answer with points from you.

Who reason why I think people don't care when asking questions, it's a waste of points if you ain't gonna give it a best answer yourself!
One of the fine reasons why I dislike Yahoo Answers, so I seldom stopped for a while.
But what I really hate is when people waste their points asking questions and repeating them in a same form the next minute just to get more diverse answers.
And when it shows they have no points because they used them all for asking questions.
It's like they don't bother or truly care about ranking up by answering questions themselves.

yeh, it's been happening a lot to me lately and it's starting to get on my nerves. i try and choose an answer almost every time, and only go to vote if i really can't decide or if i don't know which is the best advice.

Yes, sometimes when I have put a lot of thought into an answer. But I do understand that we get busy with our lives and can't always get back to them before they expire.

Yea. I hate that f'in s.h.i.t. I can't stand users that are so lazy they can't get off their a.s.s.e.s. for 3 minutes to pick a good answer.
I have only been the same for about 5 questions cause I totally forgot.
