No. I give gifts to those I car about. I really to get more joy out of giving gifts than receiving them. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy getting presents just bthat giving them is much more fun. Nothing compares to the satisfaction you feel when you see the eyes of the person light up with joy at the gift you took your time to select for them. I like to give or do little things all year long. In the winter when I'm shoveling my walk I'll do the neighbors on either side of me without them knowing. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year I just wish people would extend their warmth and givingness throughout the entire year.

Yes and no. There's a lady with two kids. Two Christmases ago we were being nice and gave them dolls. They gave us a gift, too. Last year they asked if we'd give them new dolls. We bought them something else, even though they didn't give us anything. When the older girl (9) saw that it wasn't a doll, she literally walked out of the house without so much as a thank you. This year, we are not going to give them anything.
On the other hand, we're going to donate for kids who won't receive gifts otherwise.

Giving Gift to a loved one is a matter of happiness, provided the taker is happy and that happiness gives us joy. It is much more worthy than taking a gift. More over there is a feeling of happiness equal to the bud or plant that is grown on sowing a seed by us in the garden and when we are sure that the creation is ours. Therefore, everyone would like to give gifts to others when they are happy or made happy (flattered or else) by someone, and not in expectation of anything, like a barter bank. Actually 'gift' is a token of sharing one's happiness, and its value is infinite, especially at the deserving time.

No. You give gifts to those who you want to thank, to those who you feel need a little comforting, especially the less-fortunate ones, to those who you want to help and to those who you love best. Gifts come from the heart and have no price tags or strings attached. You must remember that in giving you are spreading the goodness of the Lord, who everyday gifts us with a life that we can improve on and a life that can recuperate from sin and be worthy of His gift of mercy. Go on giving gifts to anyone who your heart feels worth giving.

Never have, never will.
I love giving gifts, not just at Christmas, but all year around, sometimes they are only little, but I get back so much happiness doing this, it is better than any material gift could be. I'm happier being a giver, than a taker.

I give to those I can when I can afford it. Sometimes it's just a card, but often it's just a little something to show them I care.
I don't care about getting something back. It feels good to give.
There have been a few years where all I could give was a phone call, but to family that is better than nothing. Because it shows that you care.

No I just don't give to anyone, that way I don't expect anything and they don't either. It's really great that way no one gets their feelings hurt if their gift isn't appreciated the way they feel it should be or if the gift they gave isn't what the person wanted.

Nope. I give to people I care about. I only get gifts in return from very, VERY few of them.
