If there is none, and if you were to coin the proper term, what would it be?

"Atis" is sugar apple. Anonna squamosa.

Yes there is. That disorder is in fact a known and common malady that is very easily cured with over-the-counter medication. It's readily available in the local drugstore, simply take two of those and there's really no need to call the doctor nor anyone else in the morning.

As best as I could explain it your devotion to your atis tree can be compared to that of the Little Prince to his rose plant - even though there are millions out there in the whole expanse of the universe yours is the most important to you. But don't forget that you have other trees in your backyard too, all of them with flowers just as fragant and fruits just as sweet. You seem to be ignoring, even neglecting them, but they deserve to be given more attention that they don't wither and die! While you tend to the other trees I will help you, I will take care of your atis tree, nurture it and rid it of those nasty aphids!

My dear friend do not let the fact that not only is there no medical term for your condition and that there is no known cure worry you.
You have gone past the point of no return.
Look in the mirror do you see anything green staring back at you. If so, there is no cure.
May I suggest that you tend to your 'Atis' tree for as long as possible while there is still some time left.

pink Floyd. Rick Wright placed out 2 solo albums and is operating on a nil.33. Syd Barrett placed out 5. Gilmour did 3 and is operating on yet another. Waters has 6 or perhaps Nick Mason has 2 and wrote a e book. even as all of them did not go away, they did go on to have separate solo careers. edit: hey sarah

Yours is the first reported case in the annals of psychiatriatic medicine. Just snap out of it, dear friend. For as soon as we give it a name/label, then it becomes real and you're doomed! hahahaha I suggest instead that you turn your fixation elsewhere. Be well!

Sweet sop is another term for "atis". I don't know what they called about a person who love his "atis" so much. But i found a link and it's a poem with sweet sop on it...
