Sump pump runs alot and it was found that the water is not from the drain tiles but from the crock liner holes that are scattered in equal distances apart. I wonder if this is necessary or common to have all of those holes?

crock itself has about 20 plus holes in it all around...

The holes let the water in so the pump can remove it. That is the way it works.

I don't understand you. The sump would be in the floor below the level of the basement, the "holes" would be for the drain tiles and the basement floor drains, including the washing machine.
My rule of thumb "If it isn't broken, don't fix it"

these are to collect any water that may come in under the floor , the pump should kick on before it gets this high so it doesnt run out the holes
