I think of all kinds of questions when I'm about to doze off, but I can't remember them to save my life right now....waddya think?

Yes, then when you are trying to go to sleep, thinking of all these questions to ask, you can jot them down and not forget!

I write songs, so I keep a tiny hand held tape recorder by my bed then I just quick say the words into it and go back to sleep before I wake all the way up and it's much easier to get it all down than writing.

Get a voice recorder, It will help you brainstorm more when you're listening back to it later. Record your dreams as soon as you wake up. Writing never gets as much detail as the expression in your voice of how amazing your dream was.

Have a tattoo artist on standby. You might break the lead on the pencil and your brilliance would be lost to the world.
