I'm not sure what you mean. You cannot "steal" a domain name, like "www.google.com." If you let the name lapse (you have to pay to keep the name for a certain period of time), then it is possible for a "cyber-squatter" to purchase it before you have a chance to re-buy it. This is considered legal, though. To avoid this, make sure that you renew your contract regularly.
