Can you please define love, in your own words, come from your heart with it and mean it?

To define it as a word is impossible. To have the reasons for it are infinite and to feel it is unexpressable in words. But I'll try. It's the reason one smiles when the wind blows by, it's why the stars seem to shine all the more brighter. It's giving someone your entire being and trusting them to cherish and accept it, it's giving them the power to destroy you and trusting them not to do it. It's accepting who a person is, not what they have or what they look like. It's the reason your heartbeat quickens when someone says their name. That and so much more.

love means:
1. allowing him to make mistakes without telling him so
2. biting your tongue instead of spilling your every thought
3. accepting the imperfections
4. tolerating the things that make you want to kick, claw, bite, scream, kick, and possibly kill over...(ex. his ex, his kids, his hillbilly family)
5. missing him when he is not around
6. feeling safe when he is laying by you at night
7. knowing that no matter how bad your day was, he is still gonna give you a bear hug and pat you on the back
8. not having to say a word or talk all the time and still know basically what the other one is thinking/feeling
9. kisses as we head out the door to work
10. someone who insists you go somewhere with them just cuz they want you with them
11. his smell brings warm fuzzes to your heart
12. his smile and that twinkle in his eyes when he looks at you speaks love louder than any words could ever say
13. not being able to picture your life without him in it
14. even after over 5 yrs, sex is not just sex, but an artful expression of what is deep inside our hearts (and he does not seem to notice the scars from my surgeries from last year...)
