Heck, Ganymede's bigger than Mercury! There are perhaps a dozen or more moons which are bigger than Pluto, Our moon is.
Edit: I thought I'd look this up for fun: all four of the Galilean satellites are bigger than Pluto. Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa.

Well, it's considered a moon of the dwarf planet, Pluto. Charon is 789 miles in diamter and Pluto is 1,370 miles in diameter, so Charon is about half the size of Pluto. Also, a new dwarf planet discovered, Eris, has a moon called Dysnomia and it isn't a dwarf planet too so why should Charon be a dwarf planet. Also, Haumea, another dwarf planet, has 2 moons and are they dwarf planets,no.
