American all the way, baby. But I would not mind living in Europe someday. I like it there. But I still love my country and always will, regardless of how badly the politicians mess things up. Besides, every country has bad politicians. You can't fault the country at large for some bad people. By and large, I firmly believe America is the best country in the world. don't mean to slam other countries at all. You can all have different opinions and there are many different countries out there that are very nice. I just place my vote in the US.

EDIT:
There is an uneducated buffoon here (named: herpegonasyphilaids) who "claims" Europeans have less blood on their hands. Guess he forgot all about World Wars one and two plus the Balkan wars in Yugoslavia and the fighting between Turkey and Greece as well as all the killings by the secret police forces of the former Soviet Union and their allies. I guess all those don't count, most likely because he is not old enough to have finished school yet, or does he spell it skool?

I'd rather be an American. If I were European, I would have to learn several languages and I'm just too lazy for that.

Think of how America was formed. European immigrants. I'll stick to being American with a European heritage thank you very much. The people here are way more interesting since they are from all cultures. Europe is more limited. They have tradition that America lacks--which keeps them 'set in their ways.' Not something I find attractive.
