i plan on growing tobacco in my back yard and i need to know where i can get seeds (i live in st.louis mo.) and what type is best for homemade cigars plz help , i do give best answer!

Been growing Burley and Arabic tobacco for years here in the Dakotas. Got the Burley seed while living in Virginia and the Arabic from T&M or Parks. Might need to Google it to find the more specialized varieties. RScott

Yo. you can grow it. You can buy seed from Gurney's or Henry Field or many other seed catalogs. There are many ways of processing it for different flavors. There are many ways of aging tobacco. This could turn out to be a very interesting hobby for you. I smoke cigars for special occasions and have grown tobacco and made cigars. Mine were not so good. But still was fun to do. I have learned about aging since then and may try it again.

You can't grow tobacco in your climate... sorry.
