What year would you like to visit and why?

Wow, that's REALLY a good question. I'd like to go back to a number of years, but if I had to pick ONE, I'd say 1969 - so I could go to Woodstock.

I was just going to ask thin question and I still will but in the Space Category.
I don't know what I would do. I would like to go back in time to about 250 million years ago to see what Earth was like then. Its something that i think all little kids want to do. Who doesn't like dinosaurs? Or maybe to go back and see how past civilizations were thousands of years ago. I'd like to see Rome at its peak, see how the pyramids were made and to understand the Mayans better. We don't know much about them yet there were some of the most advanced people to have lived.
Then part of me wants to go forward about 1000 years to see how humans have advanced. There is a possibility that there will be no life to obtain information from. I would really like to know how far we have come in Space travel and learn some of the unknown questions we have today.
I wouldn't travel to see where I will be in life. To me my life isn't the most important thing I'd like to know. The world and future understandings are far more important to me. If I just wait I will now how I turn out but I will never know where WE all will be in my life time and I will always wonder.

I'd like to go back in time to when I was 8 years old, so that was the year of 1995. Then I'd like to skip all of the years after that and fast forward to the future when I'm settled with a family of my own and etc... whatevers. I'm just not happy with my life at the moment. ;P

I can not remember the year but i would like to go back to when i started smoking. It has been the stupidest thing anyone could ever do & i have been trying to give up.
I would be too scared to go to the future, i might not like what i see.

I would go back to 1997. It was the year I started smoking ciggies and weed. I would beat the living hell out of my past self and stop myself from ever making my first huge mistake.

I made a few blunders this year...
So, roll back to Jan 2007, kill my self there and take charge, and this time, a perfect year...
But I'd have to remember so much!

I'd choose I'd go to the past. I wanted to change many things... and I wanted to be surprised for the future. :p
