Edit: My apologies, SmOky. I wasn't aware of that. It obviously has to do with the value of the dollar and the Euro. Thanks for the information. That is interesting - if a bit cheeky on the part of the Israelis. It must be the first time ever that a recipient of aid has asked that it be paid in a currency other than that of the donor country.

Interesting, I did a search for that news item and could not find it in any reputable news sources, but found plenty of examples from the "crank websites" such as the one you cite.
In any event, even if it is true, I don't see what the big deal is.
Update:
Living in a bubble? What does that mean exactly? I pointed out that the source of your information is dubious. Are you trying to claim that the news source is reputable? If so, then why haven't the major news organizations reported it? Why isn't it in Reuters, Associated Press, various newspapers? After all, they dutifully report all news that concerns Israel.
So, until you can come up with a reputable source of information, then nothing you say has any meaning.

Why is China advertising on TV for chinese citizens to trade their dollars and get rid of them?
