I received a business card given to me by a man. On his business card it stated that he offers a long list of services. One of them is Banking, Finance and Legal Services. He is a school drop out and he has no banking, finance or legal certificates. Can he be trusted?

He is not connected to any accountancy or legal firm.

May be he doesn't do all that himself and he has an accounting firm where there are other professionals who do that for him.

Key: Never judge a person only by his education. He might be smarter than many PHD's. Who knows. Bill gates was also a school drop out and so was Thomas Edison.

I mean, we really would need more info to know if he could be trusted, from what information you have provided, no I wouldn't trust him.

I don't think he is guilty of fraud though, unless he is claiming that he has degrees to backup his business card that he really does not have.

NOPE--don't be taken by a guy who just hands out cards---if you have money to do investing--look up a reputable firm listed in a phone book--LOCALLY--then deal face to face--never wire money or do anything stupid because someone says it's good....unless you want to lose your money. It isn't fraud if you ignore the guy---so don't have any contact with him---did you hear me??? NONE

He's just a broker for another company that conducts such services. He gets a commission for every client he brings. If you release any of your personal documents to him, he'll use it to bid for his commission and if he ask a deposit or payment, the chance of you getting back the money is close to nil. If no upfront payment required, then you'll be wasting time following-up with him.

My advice, ditch this guy and be gone.

It depends on the law of the country. If he doesn't have the certificates, forget it. Run away from him as fast as you can.
