Oh! We would look at "reaction" as a stupidity, with some lasting unwanted residual 'emotion' which may even evoke a counter response/s !
Instead, ACTION, depending upon the situation may be warranted. Like:
1) If the source of song is within our control, switch it on again
2) If the 'someone' is a bit mentally deranged, just empathise that person, and gently explain.
3) Choose another place and source of song, if viable.
4) Reconcile to the situation if we are really helpless(we may be a guest at someone else's place!)
....
and so on.
(reaction is usually out of some negative emotional outburst!)
If this answer makes some sense, then together with the question it would better suit 'psychology' section, though the aggregate of answers would very well suit 'polls & surveys'

Hey, that's my favorite song!!! ((Then rush to turn it back on)) It's happened, though more because of ignorance, not rudeness, on the part of the culprit.

I would be turning it back on. With my wife and I whoever's driving gets to pick the station, it works out okay and it's kind of hard to hear over my son anyway.

I only listen to music when I´m driving, so I think I´d push them off my truck.
