I'm 18 and not sexually active. I have ALWAYS had regular periods. I haven't change my diet/exercise and I haven't had abnormal levels of stress lately.
In October, I skipped my period. I got it on time in November and thought everything was back to normal. Then, two weeks later I got it again. It was very light but lasted about twice as long as usual. I am also very tired all the time-no matter how much I sleep. I am also losing my hair more than normal. I occasionally get sharp pains in my breasts and dull achy pains around where my right ovary is. Any ideas?

I suggest you see a Doctor. All may be normal but it pays to pay attention to your body. You may need blood test to determine why you are tired. There can many problems, but there is help. Good luck.

The losing of hair and ovary pain might indicate a cyst or hormonal issue.

I would talk to the docs about checking her levels and maybe looking into PCOS

Hmm there may be a hormone production prob within poss in the overy area i suggest you see a doc and ask them to send you to a gyny at hospital for further check / scan just to be safe it could be a cyst as your symtums seam to point towards a condition called polycystic overies..

Go to a gynecologist and tell them your symptoms. They should probably check for PCOS with hormone, serum insulin, and other blood tests and can also do an ultrasound. It might not be that but if it is the sooner it's treated the better it can be controlled.

You need to see a doc and get ALL of this checked out. Without examining you and running some lab tests there is NO WAY ANYONE on here can have a clue what is wrong.

I completely agree that you should see a physician. Be sure and tell him/her about everything that you have been experiencing. Make sure and include everything, doctors use combinations of symptoms to make their diagnosis. Knowing everything that's been going on would help them to know what actions to take. I wish you all the best...
