The only candidate who comes close to offering something different is Ron Paul, but then, he doesn't get the coverage that the rest of them get so it's hard to tell where he stands on the secondary issues unless you really do the research, and face it, most voters are sheep who listen to the talking heads on Sunday morning and don't really pay attention.

Democrap or Retardican...they're all the same. I actually think some of the Demos are worse because both Hill and Obama have talked about invading an ally (Pakistan) to get Bin Laden, and Hill has even mentioned using nukes. EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!

Who, from either party, is talking about lessening the trade gap, or raising taxes to pay for the war (because it ain't gonna end any time soon, face reality), or balancing the budget so the debt doesn't grow, or changing the way Medicare/Medicaid is funded to avoid the coming shortfall of TRILLIONS of $$$$, or ANY of the other unpopular but necessary steps this country NEEDS to take?!

We need a real hero. *Sigh*

Certainly the front-runners are all just more of the same with slight variations on the theme.

Of course, they don't come out and say so, and apparently are doing a pretty good job of convincing many people that they are somehow different.

I still find it amusing that so many people think POTUS candidates have full authority, power, even intention in many cases, to implement what their campaign platform ideas are if they are elected to the position. They are merely the head of the Executive branch, which granted probably comprises at least half of the fed.gov, but they rarely can just issue EO's and change anything as they see fit and many things are still up to Congress, notably almost anything that affects laws.

Dennis and Ron, but they will not win.
I like Biden when he does not chew on his shoe. He has some good ideas, has done some bad in my opinion. He would be able to work with Congress to get some things done. For good or bad.

Everyone else is too polarizing.

I truly believe that Rudy cares about social issues, crime and abortion. We have seen him stick his neck out to promote less then popular social issues more than a few times.

Regardless of all the spew to the contrary, I don't believe his stance on the 2nd Amendment threatens legitimate, responsible gun owners. I think his record in NY proves that he is innovative and resourceful in achieving change and I believe he will be fiscally conservative.

Being a left leaning Republican, he is the candidate that best fits my idea of what this country could be.

I would love to see a candidate in office who is intent upon removing the stigma from and promoting adoptions and even though it does not concern my life personally, raising the level of respect our gay population meets with in their daily lives, while simultaneously being very tough on crime and terrorism.

Plus, I like his proposal for health care. It is the only one on the board that even comes close to making sense to me.

Hillary Clinton will give Americans more benefits aside from the 5,000 dollars per child that she already proposed.
