I don't feel guilty about jack! ;) Can you narrow down your question of "do you feel guilty" - guilty about what? I do not feel guilty nor do I have a conscience when it comes to people who have done me wrong.

I firmly believe that every human being - including a sociopath - feels guilt, since this is a response to our conditioning and upbringing. Therefore, it's a matter of degree. Among my acquaintances are a few who show no signs of guilt on the surface, but I suspect that some remnants of this emotion remain in the subconscious.

sorry, but i'm not a sociopath.
on the other hand, i've rarely felt guilt in my life. i stole some postcards from a store [shoplifted them] in my pre-teens, and decades later, did things like unnecessarily hurt some people by poorly-chosen words uttered without thinking about what their effect might be. i felt sorrow for those actions and guilt for having done it.
funny story... the guilty "wrong words" event was when a woman at work was being really pissy, and i offhandedly remarked, "well, if that's the way you always act, no wonder you're not married..."
pretty dumb, eh? well, i apologized and she forgave me, and later a miracle happened.... she became less pissy, met a nice guy, got married and last i heard, had a few kids.
maybe my cruel and lame comment actually helped...
final comments as to guilt... remember: there are at least two kinds.... the kind you generate by yourself FOR yourself when you think about something you've done, and the other kind, the kind stuffed down your throat by someone else who's trying to manipulate you for some reason.
THAT kind of guilt, i've pretty much immunized myself to, and it makes it really funny around our house if i or my wife try to "guilt one another" into doing something. we recognize it, laugh at each other, and then turn the "request" into an emotionally "clean" communication. it's wonderful, and after 17 years+ of marriage, it just helps it get better and better.
enjoy your studies...

Everything which happening in the nature is according to the laws of nature. If I conduct myself in unison with them I do not feel guilty. As for personal relationships, I do not annoy anybody and if some body does I ignore him and go my way. So no chance for feeling guilty. As for conducting my business I go according to the system defacto. I can not change it or go against it. While I am in Rome I do what Romans do so I do not feel guilty.

are you sure that a sociopath would actually believe that he/she is a sociopath.....and if they convinced themself of this, why would a sociopath ever admit to you that he/she is a sociopath?

The older I get and the more that I am exposed to the younger generation, the less I feel.

Hmm...it seems to me that guilt can be felt only if one is guilty. And the color orange is not here at the moment, so excuse me while I run away.

The Clintons are sociopaths, as well as socialists. They deceive and stupify the masses.
