The three original suspects (Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers) have been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Much of the new evidence apparently centers around cell calls and text messages among the three men.

So far, all I've heard about this case is that the three young men originally suspected in her disappearance have been arrested again. It sounds like investigators have been able to find more evidence because in a press release, those men were arrested for causing great bodily harm that resulted in her death. I found this very interesting because now it is being acknowledged that she is actually dead and not just missing.
