Is a 40GB PS3 worth buying over a 20GBXbox Premium?

I recently bought a xbox premium bundle pack that included 2 wireless controllers and the Forza2/Marvel and a play and charge for $400 but i want to know if a 40GB PS3 is worth the exchange for the xbox that includes 2 controllers and Spiderman 3 for $400 as well. ( Does PS3 come with a charger)

Id say it was a good deal BUT 360 is also cool cuz it has a better online gaming experience. If ur into like ur console doing like really cool things like for example the Home thing on ps3 then ps3 is the way to go but if u wan tlike MASSIVE ONLINE GAMING 360 is the way to go. So depending on the type of gamer u are. But yes PS3 is worth it.

Yes, a 40GB PS3 is worth buying over the 20GB Xbox Premium any day. For just $50 bucks more, the 40GB PS3 has built in WiFi, Bluetooth, Bluray, a more reliable console(hardware failure rate is less than 1%), and more advanced technology. Now that sounds like a good deal to me. Plus, the PS3 controllers are rechargeable and do not need batteries like Xbox 360 controllers. A USB cord is included with the PS3 to charge your controllers.

Also the person that said that the PS3 freezes, is completely wrong. "Some" PS3's had minor freezing problems with the Information Board in the 2.00 update that came out earlier this month, but Sony fixed that problem with the new 2.01 update that came out Nov. 20th. And my PS3 has never froze.

The only downside to the 40GB PS3 is that it cannot play PS2 games, but it can play PS1 games.

If you were to buy the HD-DVD attachment for the Xbox 360 you would have to pay $179 and if you were to buy the WiFi adapter for the Xbox 360 you would spend about $100 dollars. Plus, I think that the main reason why people bought Xbox 360's in the last couple of months is just for Halo 3 and now that the hype is over with, the Xbox 360 really doesn't have any big exciting games coming out for it. You have to buy batteries for the Xbox 360 controllers and of course the Xbox 360 has the worst hardware failure rate of about 30%(Red Ring of Death).

The PS3 on the other hand has some good games out now, and the PS3 WILL dominate 2008 and will have the best games in 2008 hands down. And just to list a few of the PS3 exclusive games for 2008: Haze, Killzone 2, SOCOM Confrontation, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, The Getaway 3, Tekken 6, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Online, Final Fantasy XIII and the list goes on and on.

You should not even think about getting a Playstation 3 all they do is freeze and take up alot of space if you want a good gaming system/console then get the 360 because it has better graphics and and alot better games

what do u mean charger, for the controller's? i think for the long term u should get the ps3, and if ur a gamer, get it now, for the sweet games that are coming up in 08, and its the cheapest blu-ray player out there; and also ps3 has the lowest breaking rate in the next gen consoles, so u dont have to worry about it breaking down!

no way! 40 GB is ps1 games only and spiderman 3? even if it was ps1 i dont think its worth it, and a ps3 doesnt need a charger, it has one but its but its like if you dont have it you cant play it, it must come with it.
